Meera Baswan
Co-Founder
Meera is the co-founder and co-director of The Indigenous Foundation. Meera, along with Sena founded TIF in November, 2020. She is currently in High School, residing in Toronto (Treaty 13 territory). She co-founded The Indigenous Foundation in the hopes to raise awareness about Indigenous rights across Turtle Island, and shed light on the ongoing injustices committed against Indigenous communities to this day. She is passionate about planning and creating new ideas to bring to TIF. She hopes to bring intersectional perspectives and amplify Indigenous voices through The Indigenous Foundation. In her free time, Meera enjoys listening to music, reading, and biking.
