Aaliyah, a 23-year-old Afro-Indigenous woman from the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska, and proud first-generation graduate of the University of Washington, where she earned her B.A. in Communications. Her passions include music, dance, poetry, enjoying delicious food, and spending quality time with family. Driven by her love for writing and commitment to social justice, Aaliyah joined the columnist team at TIF. Through her work, she strives to amplify Indigenous voices and ensure their teachings continue to impact positive change in our society.
