Isla grew up in an Indigenous household in a small town in Texas. Surrounded by the love of their family, they were always taught to follow their heart and passions. She is currently an Advertising & Mass Communication major paired with a Business minor at Texas State University. Graduating this spring, Isla is combining her two goals: To help people, and to be creative as possible. They will be on the creative projects and design team. At TIF, Isla believes she is making a difference by advocating for what's right and honoring her ancestors.
