Katie (she/her) is a 19 year-old girl from New Jersey and a citizen of the Potawatomi Nation. She is going into her second year of her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering. She is part of the projects and podcasts teams at TIF, and is passionate about Indigenous representations in higher education. In her free time, you can most likely find Katie at the beach, listening to music, or traveling to explore new places. Through TIF, she hopes to spread awareness about the injustices that Indigenous communities face, advocate for Indigenous voices in STEM/academia, and inspire others to spark change in their communities.
