Kyla is a 23 year old, Cherokee Indigenous and Black woman and is also from Northern Virginia. She is part of the writing team at TIF and writes articles about the racial injustice systems when it comes to Indigenous groups and BIPOC public health. She enjoys reading, spending time in nature, and teaching about health/wellness. She hopes to spread awareness in her articles about the BIPOC public health crisis and wellness for the BIPOC community through the The Indigenous Foundation.
