Sena Yenilmez
Co-Founder
Sena Yenilmez is one of the co-directors and founders of TIF. She is currently a second-year at the University of Toronto studying neuroscience and physiology with a minor in immunology (Treaty 13 territory). Sena enjoys reading, bullet-journaling, and cross-stitching. She co-founded TIF because after learning about the inequalities Indigenous groups in Canada face, she wanted to do something about the extreme racism that Indigenous groups go through in Turtle Island. She wanted to raise awareness about both the struggles of Indigenous peoples across the globe and highlight their achievements. She hopes to do what she can in order to make a difference through TIF to amplify Indigenous voices and share Indigenous voices.
